Faith in Christ is like the wind. You cannot reach out and grasp it with your hand, but you know it is there because you feel it. It is not an object to be examined with your eyes, for if a thing can be seen, faith is unnecessary.
Faith is a relationship with the Savior, the One whose knowledge of you and love for you infinitely surpasses that of anyone else. It is His presence, ever greater in your life, as He draws you, teaches you, counsels you, and empowers you to be more like Him today than you were yesterday. More like Him this moment, than you were in the last.
Faith is that confident taking of a step on life’s path where there are unknown twists and bends, but where the final destination is known. As is the assurance of His presence and power along the way.
Faith is that force of the heart that enables your mind and body to keep walking, believing, trusting…because you know, like the wind, He is there.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (NAS)
