All Life Matters–or None Does

All life matters. But in 1973, the United States Supreme Court committed an egregious error when it decided that the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness does not apply to a certain group of human beings. The Court decreed that the lives of children in the womb do not matter. If the tiniest and most innocent lives among us do not warrant protection, why should any other?

Since then, over 60 million children have been murdered, all with government sanction, and the killers have enjoyed financial incentives through receiving tax dollars. The ill effects of this national sin have bled over into every area of society, leaving us fearful in a dark and dangerous culture of death where some groups think they have the power to decide who lives and who dies. Who would have thought it would come to this?

But we are reaping in tears what has been sown in lust and pride: the shedding of innocent blood. May God Almighty forgive us and deliver us from evil. In Jesus’ name.
